Hi there.i came to the uk as a student from malaysia in 1990 and had my student visa till
sept 1995.i then gave my passport to a lawyer to try to get my visa extended and have not
seen the lawyer and my passport since then.i have tried looking for this lawyer for 2 years but then gave up.i was afraid to go back to malaysia because im gay and my family will find out.after 19 years now im ready to go back.what will happen to me when i turned up at the airport to leave uk?i never claimed any benefits and dont have a criminal record.i will be paying my own fare home.i know what i have done is illegal but i had no choice because my dad will be very hurt if he found out im gay.my dad died last year.please help.
