Hi All,

I am presently on a work permit till 2013 and I got a new offer from a different employer in the same field. They have recently posted me my Sponsorship Certificate for the new job.

Now, I have to give a 2 months notice to my present employer before leaving them. I wanted to give them this notice once I have successfully received my new Tier-2 work permit from the new employer.

My question is: Can I book my in person interview or post the application before giving the resignation letter to my present employer? What will happen if after 1 month I get my new permit from the new employer, will I be able to work with my present employer given that i cannot leave them before 2 months period?

If I can get an in-person interview, can I ask the HO people to start the new permit from a later date?

Please any help in this regard will be highly appreciated as to what should I do!
