How upsetting. They really should profile people wanting to work in this area, I can imagine that a lot of people with a negative attitude towards immigrants want to work for the UKBA.

I remember sitting in an asylum interview being carried out by an eighteen year old blond girl who was chewing the end of her pen and twirling her finger in her hair while she asked my thirty year old very religious client to be specific about how often she had been raped whilst she was held captive. "was it every day, once a week, once a month .... you must remember"

It is shocking how badly and innappropriately many Home Office staff handle cases, and speak to applicants.
