I've merged your previous thread so readers may have a vague idea what you are referring to. I'll sum up what I have understood: You left the UK in Sept 2010 to apply for a new Tier 2 visa with a new employer. But your dependant's leave, that was granted on the basis of your previous Tier 2, was not changed accordingly and is valid until 2012.

Here's the thing: Do they actually need to change their leave? They are still your Tier 2 dependant's and you have valid Tier 2 leave (albeit different to the original). But are they able to simple pick up on your new leave where they left off on your previous, without changing it? I think it would be fine if you had extended your leave inside the UK and that offers continuity, but a new WP with a new employer issued outside the UK seems to indicate that they would have been obliged to change with you. Wait for more comment on this.
