Hi, I applied for the YMS in November as a Canadian. I believe the 90 consec days rule only applies to other visa categories, for the YMS, as long as it's recent and you can prove it, it will suffice (evidence has to be dated within the month if i remember correctly). Yes it is a bit silly as you could possibly no longer have the funds as of the day after your evidence, but I guess they don't care too much about that loophole because the applicant will have no recourse to any public funds anyway, so we're on our own anyway, so no harm done.

Did you just supply a letter from your bank saying you had sufficient funds or did you supply and bank statement ie transaction history as well? I read somewhere else that someone was surprised with the fact that they needed a police report, did you encounter that?
