hi, could someone please provide a list of requirements for ILR application, my wife passed the ESOL course and does she still need to apply for Life in the UK. ?

Did the ESOL course have the citizenship module? The form clearly advises you on what is required;

A relevant ESOL with citizenship qualification issued by an approved awarding body, undertaken at an accredited

college, and demonstrating that you have progressed at least one level...

Thank you for your advice,

on ILR requirement it says to provide 6 documents on applicants name & my wife has been living with me and my parents, most of the utility bills are on my parents name.

as it stand I have the following bills on our names:

Bank account

x2 Phone bill on joint name

x2 Water bill on joint name



Can my parents provide a letter to confirm shes been living with us

It also says you can provide other documents which are not in joint names.

thanks...she does have some documents on her name but most of them are for past 10months and so on, and I'm just wondering if these a big gap since she came in the UK on (August 2009)

Section 10 on the form, if you read it, answers it for you, it states;

"Please give an explanation on a separate sheet if you cannot provide 6 items; if the documents are not addressed to both of

you; or if they do not cover the 2-year period. If you and your partner lived with relatives or friends for some or all of the 2-year

period, please provide a letter from the relative(s) and/or friend(s) confirming this."
