Hello all,

Wondering if someone can help with a question.

A relative of mine is Australian national and wishes to apply for the Tier5 (1 year working visa in UK). He needs 50 points and satisfies two conditions out of three. Problem is his age. He is 35 years old and does not qualify for the 10 points related to age (31 or under). There doesn’t seem to be any other option. Is there anything he can do or is there any other way he can get a temporary work visa to UK for a year?

Thanks for your help.

Regards and best wishes

There is no option, unless he meets another tier category or has UK ancestry.

Thanks Victoria. Greatly appreciate your response. If he doesn’t meet any criteria for any other tier and has immediate family, such as brothers and sisters whom are UK nationals but not ancestors, could there be a possibility?
