Need a great help from you.
Currently I'm in Tier-2 visa and planning to switch to a new employer with a new Tier-2 visa in a month time.
My wife who was with me in UK as dependent for around 3.5 yrs and now in India. My son was born last month and she will coming back to only after 6 months.
Now I will be applying for a new Tier-2 visa by staying in UK but she could not do that as she is in India. However she will be apply for a dependent visa for her and our son before she comes to UK.
Will this affect her ILR requirement i.e qualifying period.
I'm totally confused. Please help.

As I mentioned before, my wife applied for Tier-2 dependent visa in India on 7th July 2012 before the new dependent settlement rule.
We have not heard anything back from them. Almost 4 months have gone, no reply from the UK Embassy.
My friends told due to this long waiting time, mostly the visa will be rejected. I have torn by this. Is it true?
Another important thing is, my wife submitted her bank statement (Bank which is in India) which has enough balance whilst applying for visa. Though I am having enough balance, I have not given my UK bank statement. Will it be a problem.
Could you please help, what to do.
Many Thanks.

1. Copy of my Bio-metric Card.
2. Original letter from UKBA which shows my Tier-2 approval.
3. Letter from employee.
