Hi all,
I am planning to leave for the Uk in December but need to apply for my YMS visa before October as I turn 31 then. If I put in my application in around mid june and get my visa application accepted does it matter when i arrive in the UK?? If I say I want the visa to commence in say September will I be able to still leave in December?? what are the rules/restrictions on that? Really confused and would greatly appreciate some advice.
Thanks, Andy

hi Andy!

Don't know if this will help you but there is some clarification of YMS Visa things here including some real specific stuff about age and when you have to apply by?

http://www.ukba.home...eme?view=Binary

The big one I saw relating to you was

"under the age of 31 on the date they make their application."

This is on Page 11 of the document. Not sure if it helps but I just joined this forum to ask a question so thought I would try help out!?

this site also has some good question and Answers and one in particular relating to your question
http://www.visafirst...a_faq.asp#faq17

Hope you got the info in time!

Kind Regards,

Matt

Hi everyone,

I've registered for the UKBA website to book a PEO appointment for Tier 2 general extension. No matter what dates I put in (I am aware that I can't book dates more than 42 days in advance) and what PEO I put in, it keeps saying:
"We do not have any appointments available for your preferred dates and locations.
Please change your preferred dates and location and search again."

Can anyone please provide me with any guidance on what I might be doing wrong? I have also tried putting in other several categories but am getting the same message above.

Thanks!
