Almost 5 weeks since UKBA's withdrawal and two weeks since a letter was sent to them requesting an update. Radio silence continues. Called POU in Angel Sq London (only deals with Upper Tribunal cases) who gave me a number which proved useless. I've heard of Greenwich Mean Time and Chico time, now add to that UKBA time. Approaching ten months since a valid application for a family permit was made and then refused using a regulation that did not exist.
Does anyone know of a direct number to the central POU, as it appears local POUs hide behind PO Boxes and 0845 robots. I only need to know if the info has been relayed to the overseas post (who also appear to operate in some sort of parrallel, time-lapse universe).
Is a complaint worth the effort or should I take-up yoga?
The Tribunal advised myself and the applicant of the withdrawal within two weeks.
Update 13.12.2012 - Yoga classes put on hold - have been advised that the overseas post was informed 4 weeks ago.
