You need to appeal.  And you need to get decent legal advice. I'd be happy to help.

The fact that you were engaged within such a short time of meeting should have been addressed. The solicitor who reviewed the documents should have discussed this with you.

My main concern is would it be difficult to prove that what we have is genuine?

The more I think about it, the more I am unsure how to prove it..
