Contact the family court which issued the decree absolute about a new official confirmation of it.

Hi thanks for your advice i have got it and applied earlier this year for eea4 permanet residence retain right of residence after divorce.i received COA few weeks later and it states at the end of the letter:"at this stage we are unable to confirm your right to work in the united kingdom.this will depend on the outcome of the application.the enclosed Questions and Answers sheet provides more informations about employment rights."
my questions are:
1-has anyone else receive this before? is it normal?how come they cannot confirm my employment rights after more than 5 years legally working here?
2-my RC residence card will expire soon less than 2 months, what happen if my emplyer ask me about my visa/prove of residence,is this COA will be ok? really confused any help please thanks all

It is probably not initially clear to the HO that you have retained the right of residence, unfortunately all you can do is wait for a decision. Your employer could try the HO employer checking service though this is known to be unreliable, the answer may be the same, that they can't confirm or deny anythign pending the application. It's not possible to say more for sure without an advisor seeing the exact documents which were sent.
