Hi all,

My wife's visa was refused today and she got a letter which says that we must appeal within 28 days or submit a new application.

Can anybody help me out with this one please? Were can i go from here?

She got refused on the marriage bit. They are not convinced that we are a genuine couple because we didn't provide photos and other things.

OK my bad for not giving them photos but they also want phone bills and emails. Me and my wife we talk on Skype because it's free and i can't afford to talk on the phone. We have been together for 2 years now.

Also they thing that all my payslips and P60 which i have printed from my employers internal website, are photocopies.
We don't receive payslips by post anymore. Everything can be printed out. How can i explain this to them? Everything is there. I have been employed with the same company for 5 years now.

Can anybody give me some advice please? I would appreciate your help.

Regards

Not very helpful if you are to expect meaningful comments. Can you cite the exact words of the refusal notice and the relevant paragraph of the immigration rules that were referred to?

I'm sorry as the wife has the documents in Albania.

Basically on this section they say that they are happy with the marriage certificate being present, however they can't see any correspondence between me and her.
They are asking for photos of me and her, or phone calls, emails, chats and things like that.

We don't talk on the phone as we use Skype. It's free. We have plenty of photos and i will show to them.

I'm sorry but my grammar is not the best.

And the part about the Payslips? You have to appreciate that without the facts (about the core problem that needs to be rectified) it's not possible to help you. Why don't you wait until your wife emails you the refusal notice and then come back to the forum when you have the relevant details.

Had you not thought of taking screenshots of the skype call logs? me and my husband are waiting for our decision on a spouse visa but we submitted every form of communication we did from email screenshots of inbox, facebook messages, text messages, whatsapp messages and skype call logs. If you no longer receive payslips and thats the only form you get them you couldve possibly got a letter from your employer confirming that this is how you now receive payslips etc. I would wait for the exact refusal notice then get intouch with a adviser to help you.

You do need legal assistance with the appeal. You can talk to any of the advisors here. I would be happy to assist.
