For the passport interview - do I need to take anything else (like citizenship certificate, passport etc) or just the interview confirmation letter (re time and venue) will be enough?

Take whatever the letter asks you to take.

Just had my interview - it's basically the letter itself you've to take with - there is a small note in the passport application booklet re interview thing - it mentioned there as well (re what to take)

The interview was very relaxed - just a couple of basic things she asked -

1. Full name with the spellings
2. Address - home phone number, mobile number - contract company, office phone number
3. How did I send my passport application - what documents I enclosed - which Post office I used
4. When was my citizenship ceremony
5. What bank I use - Bank sort codes - credit cards - how many I have got
6. How long have I been in my current address
7. What was my previous address - how long did I stay there
8. About my children - which school they go - their date of births
9. Where was I born - name of the town
10. My parents' names - their date of births
11. Name of the counter signatory, his job - how long we know him
12. at the end I had to sign my name

Basically things I mentioned in the passport application and the extra bit is the finance thing - I guess they get the records from credit rating company.
