Hi

   I m new on to this forum & waiting too long on my case thought should share my story as well so
May get some help from all of u.

I came in uk 2003 as student,in 2008 applied for psw under CAMBRIDGE college of learning got refused with deception got right of appeal but no success keep refused on those appeals then in Mar 2010 I applied under human rights article 8 got refused in feb 2011 then I applied for reconsideration in feb 2011 & received acknowledgment in August 2011 after tht no reply & no contact from HO. Waiting so long.
I got kids one is 4 years old he is goin nursery & other is 2 years old they both born here & my wife she is not British  national.
Anyone please any advise or help will b appreciated its  difficult to wait & y HO not taking any decision y they not refusing us........

i am waiting from july 2010 after receiving acknowledgement for my reconsideration
i called yesterday first time and was told u will have 2 just wait ur case is still pending .... they cant give specific time limit ...dats all

so we just need to wait

Does your wife have ILR ? If not, what sort of visa does she have?

She was my dependent on student visa & now my application of flr(o) is under her name & my kids n me r dependants

Why is this in the appeals section?  You haven't been refused yet have you?

Yes we did refuse in Feb2011 then we put it for reconsideration & I
Call today HO & they said there's no particular time on reconsiderations so u have
To wait coz ur application is still not completed.
I don't know is it gud to call them or I did mistake

But no right of appeal? A reconsideration is not an appeal.

Thnks Victoria, they didt give us right of appeal,can u help me abt this recent news abt
Backlog does tht only apply asylum cases or incl all pending cases coz immigration minister
Said they goin to clear by end of December do we exist on those files ???
