I am about to submit my Citizenship application in few days and got a question hopfuly you will help guys.
I have entered the UK illegally in and then got caught by immigration police in 2005 and made asylum then been put in an immigration centre for a week and released for my asylum case to report to police station till I attend court for my asylum case.
I reported to police twice and then didn't go after that and didn't attend court and my case been refused.
My wife and I went home together Dec 2008 and paid for my ticket myself and got stopped at the airport and one office asked me where have I been all that time and then I was allowed to leave the UK.
after we got married I applied for a spouse visa which is rejected and then made an appeal and won the appeal on human rights grounds, then I entered the UK on a spouse visa in Nov 2009.
I got my ILR a year ago and now I am due to apply for my citizenship.
* does this count as a conviction!! and as this happened in May 2005 when I got caught is spent by now then!!
*Do I have to declare the whole story again in my citizenship application?
And finally * would it delay to my application?
Thanks a lot in advance.

I have never been in any trouble whatsoever and never been convicted in any court.
I have got a recent CRB and it's all clean.
All what I am worried about is my illegal entry back in 2004.
Do I still have to disclose that in my Citizenship application?
Thanks in advance.

If your history was disclosed on the previous application you have nothing to worry about.
