All,
My wife is applying for SET M soon.
(i) If I (UK Citizen husband) am providing 3 months bank statements, does my wife also need to provide 3 months bank statemetns for her bank, or will my statements cover her?
(ii) Is there any guidance as to the amount that should be reflected in the bank statements over the 3 months?
(iii) Can cash savings accounts (ISA Accounts or Fixed Rate Saver accounts) be considered as evidence of maintenance - although both these accounts are saving accounts, funds can be withdrawn. With the Fixed Rate Saver, no statement is issued, just a letter is provided to me stating that the Fixed Rate Saver is active and will mature in 6 months time. The Fixed Rate Saver is for 6 months, and will mature in 6 months time. Funds can be withdrawn from this, and there is a penalty for that - which I would be happy to pay if ever needed.
If your response can clearly reference (i), (ii) or (iii), that would be highly appreciated.

Refer to the SET M form.. it clearly states what is required... if unsure you may want to get legal assistance with the application.

We provided 3 months current account statements and a letter from bank which states the amount on our saving account. But the case worker only took 2 month current account statements. From my experience on the day at PEO, I think the best thing is to get every single document which relates to you and your spouse and catalogue them. It's easier for the case worker to pick up what he/she wants, also gives him/her an impression that you've done the application nicely.
Wish you good luck!

'Every single document' is definitely NOT needed. There could be hundreds!
