So, yesterday we received a letter from UKBA and it says,

Your Appeal had been allowed and decision has been made to grant you a period of Leave, in order to do so, please enrol your biometrics within 15 days…. “

In 2011 when homeoffice refused the initial application for FLR(O), they have sent back the passport along with supporting documents.
We were under the impression that we will get a call in letter from homeoffice to send them a passport back along with photograph so they can endorse a visa on it.

Instead homeoffice had only asked to do biometrics.

Biometrics’ done yesterday, how long it will take to receive a card?

Can someone help us to understand, whats does it means?

I’ll be so grateful.

Irfan.

thanks mate.... does it mean, end of case ? ukba wouldn't be asking to send them passport ? assuming they already have the copy of passport in thier record...

I have been searching to findout about conditions of stay for DLR 2.5 years bases, but no luck..

can you guide me to some home officelink where i can findout, what kind of things you are allowed to do, such as

A person on DLR 2.5 year, if he wishes to study at university, would he be paying a fee as an international student or less ?

Thanks alot.

The UKBA will now send you a biometric card. The DLR if granted for 2.5 years allows you to do everything except claim welfare benefits and study as a home student.

You are allowed to work, travel, set up a business, etc.

Hi guys

So biometrics done over two weeks ago, 18 Feb 2013, after winning appeal based on article 8 UKBA sent a letter that say,

Your Appeal had been allowed and decision has been made to grant you a period of Leave, in order to do so, please enroll your biometrics within 15 days…. “

I was wondering as they have clearly mentioned that a decision had been made to grant a leave then it should not take more than two weeks to get the BRP.
Should I contact UKBA on that given email address at

BRPDelivery@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

http://www.ukba.home...e-uk/biometric/

or is the above email address is for only straightforward application ?

Please advise.

Kind Regards

Irfan
