Hi all,
My wife has been issued a 27-month spouse visa (we applied before July 8th). The issue date being 29th August 2012 and the date of expiry being 29th November 2014.
We are currently in UAE and making preparations to move back to UK. I understand that we have three months from the date of issue, hence the last day that we must leave the UAE by is the 29th November 2012.
Due to furniture shipping problems and all other hassles of moving from one country to the next, we will be flying out on the night of 29th November 2012 to enter UK on 30th November 2012. Since we have gone over by one day will this have an effect on the application for ILR in 2 year's time? I mean, when the visa expires on 29th November 2014, would we need to apply for FLR just for one day's extension ?
