Hi everyone, I am due for my interview next month for my ILR visa thru PEO. I am worried about our financial status. My husband is working part time while doing his PhD. He is self funded. I am on maternity leave due to go back to work soon as our baby died. We used to live with our in laws until recently we moved out as to start a new life re our baby's death. We are now renting flat so mostly my salary went to rents, bills. We don't get any allowance or benefits from the government. My in laws are always there to help us if we are in need. Do you think I will be granted an ILR visa?

You need to prove that you can support yourselves, and parental support can help.

Thank you Victoria, yes we can support ourselves without help from government benefits or allowance but what worries me is I have no big amount of monies in my bank. Although my parents in law will provide a letter also of support to us also. Will it help? Thank you.

They need to provide more than a letter - they need to send evidence they can afford to help.
