Hi we are renting from people who themselves are renting from the Landlord, Although I have no contact with the Landlord but the people I am renting from will be able to get me a persmission letter from the Landlord. I will be applying for the FLR-M visa (Spouse visa)
My questions are:
1-Do I really need a Permission Letter? It doesnt say anywhere in the requirements on the website.
2-Do I also need a tenancy agreement?
3. When providing either the Tenancy agreement or the Permission letter, do I need to provide the Land Registry Documents to prove the ownership?

If your spouse's name is not on the tenancy agreement then you need evidence that the landlord gives permission as well as evidence that he really owns the property.

My spouses name is on the property and we have the council tax certificate, although the council tax cert doesn't have our names on it. Will that be okay? I can't prove his ownership could you tell me how could I prove the ownership please?
Thanks

You have contradicted yourself. Your spouse's name isn't on the property if she is subletting from a third party.
