Hi Victoria,

Hope you doing well. I have a query for my brother.

He is under Tier1-General Visa completing 5 year tenure end of December 2012 and applying for ILR. He got married last year in the month Jan-2011 and his spouse got visa in Feb 2011,  but arrived to UK in the month July 2011.

My question: Can his spouse apply for ILR along with my brother application in December or she has to apply for FLR(M). Since both of them Visa expires end of December and the application Postal address is different for ILR and FLR(M) what is the right approach in applying.

If someone apply ILR on completing 5 year Tier 1 under PBS system, then his wife will apply ILR after completing 2 years in UK (if she got visa before 09.07.2012). She may apply in July 2013.  Best to engage some professional consultant. Regards
