Hi,
I am a British Citizen residing overseas. My husband has been granted settlement visa with KOL required and we plan to emigrate to the UK soon. We plan to make a short visit (1 week) to the UK to check out the schools for my 8 year old son before emigrating permanently.
Do you forsee any problems at UK immigration if
1) Just me and my son travel (my son does not have a british passport and has ILR stamp) to check out schools
2) Me, my husband and son travel - but only for a week. Would this cause possible issues at immigration ? Since my husband will be travelling on Settlement visa but only for a week. This would be his first visit on Settlement visa. Have visited UK numerous times on visit visa
The main intention is to visit the schools in January 2013 with a view to move permanently in June/July.
Thanks
