Hi,
My wife and I came together in 2007 in HSMP and got Tier 1 after 2 years. We are about to apply for ILR SET(O) on 1st week of January 2013. We are staying in the UK since the day we entered and applied for the extension in 2010 together. I have got our tenancy agreement in our names as one of the proof of cohabitation and some letters from GP and private clinic to which our GP referred to.
My wife gave my firstname as her surname while opening bank account so her bank statements are all addressed to "wifes-firstn-name my-first-name" (my wife's surname and my name are like david and davidson, just the last two letter are different). I am planning to get an attestation from a notary public stating that both the name belongs to same person, will that be helpful or is it enough if I attach a letter signed by me stating the same?
Any help will be appreciated.
