Hi,
I entered the UK on 7-Nov-2007 on a Tier 2 ICT (then called Work Permit).
I am continuing since then and have completed 5 years in UK.
I was thinking of applying for a ILR but I have a problem and needed some advice.
For the first six months until April 2008, I was being paid in Cash not through a regular salary. This was later regularised as salary through bank in Apr, 2008.
One of the clauses in set0 state that we need documentation to prove that we were in employment as stated in the WP for this period. I think normally a P60 for this period is to be produced. However for the period Nov, 2007 to Apr,2008 I do not have a P60 having only received cash for expenses and not salary. I do have the Income tax return from my country of residence showing salary received in India from the Indian subsidiary company.
Given the current volatility, I would like to apply for the ILR at the earliest. What are the chances for rejection. Any thoughts?
Also, not sure if in my case the Tier 2 ICT can be extended after 5 years.
Any advice will be much appreciated.
Rgds
Vinod
