Stolen Passport

Hie everyone, my passport was stolen but it had expired and my ILR visa was stamped in it. I was wonderng if the UKBA can issue me with some document for me to able to work whilst waiting for my passport from my country because it takes forever to get one.

They can issue you with an ID card if you apply on form NYL.
