Dear All,

I am on currently Post study Work visa and hoping to apply for Tier1 Entrepreneur Visa by the end of this month. I got to know from one of my friends that the UKBA will close this route from 13th December, 2012 . Is it true? I couldn't find anywhere in the UKBA website regarding this issue. Please kindly clarify this matter.

No who told you, your friend lying to you, no change at all but relaxation there, only change for uk tier 4 to switch to enterperanur.

Thanks for your prompt reply. what will be the change which come into force for tier 4 to switch to Entrepreneur? Just curious to know, can you please provide me the link? Thanks.

Can someone help
I have a friend whose post study leave  will run out on 15/01/2013 and she is planning to switch to tier 1 enterpreneur.she has gotten other supporting documents but her maintenance fund will reach 90 days  on 26/01/ 2013.i want to confirm if she is eligible to apply for tier 1(enterpreneur) after her visa expires because of 28 days rule.
what is the best option or advice.

1. Yes there is a change, that does mean that the person with Tier 4 visa will not be able to switch unless they have funds from specific source, so no more using your own bank statement, or third party funds.

2. If you don't have maintenance funds, you don't qualify, It is tricky, why can't she go home and apply from there, with full documents,
