Hello everyone, I hope all is fine . I like this forum and the love and advice we share with eachother even
when we don't know facially.
most of us are seeking legal leave to remain though we shall be granted but
it's de time dat is actually frustating us but with de help of God or
anything u believe in, we'll get it.
some advisers here are good while some are saucy and abusive.

Guys my case ve been pending since 2010.I never knew I was an over-stayer till 23 July 2010 when HO replied to de second
application on article 3& 8 but concentrated more on article 3 and I was given up to August 15 to leave on my own or else enforcement
remover will be made against me. I never knew de supposed man I was using was fake with no qualification
as a solicitor or an immigration adviser. He had a law chambers and use to host a TV program on BEN TV called legal matters.
He attends my local church,he is a deacon and also  my bible study leader at dat time so de trust I had on him
was very massive.I came in as a student in 2004 renewed twice on my own and dat of my wife.In 2007 I was struck down
with a demonic sickness which affected my entire body.I began to experience irrational tins which I thought was normal until
the day I woke up with my left eye visionless i.e blind.I went to see an optician who check me and said my eye is very
normal.I did countless test like MRI,HIV,bone check,Lumber puncture,...etc
To cut de long story short I was finally diagnose with MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. As human I was shaken but at de end
am ok. Never trust anybody in dis life. It is well.

At the moment the HO cancelled the depotation in October 2010 for reconsideration of my case based on the new evidence.
That is what am still waiting for. My lawyer have been very good. He charged me only once in 2010. He keep  sending
letters for update but no reply till last year August but de same story dey tell everyone waiting like me.My solicitor
advised me to look for legal aid to seek for JR.I told him no I don't need JR  cos no error was made in HO final decision in
2010.It will benefit me if I wait a little.Last week DUNCAN LEWIS took over my case and ask if I ve any relations apart from
my own family ,I said yes so dey told me to get character reference letters from them and photocopy of their data
page of British passport, same letters from friends, church pastor and M S society where am a member

Guys I need format  on writing one. I don't want to wait till 2014 when my daughter will clock 7yrs.
ur help will be much appreciated . I apologise if my story sounds stupid. No human is perfect.
God bless u all.

If Duncan Lewis have your case they should assist with this.

None of the advisers on this board are ever abusive.

Good luck with your case.

Sorry to hear about your story. The reference letter do not have any format, it all depends on what the person want to say in the letter.  When I submitted my application in 2010, I got reference letters from my pastor, friends who have either ILR or British passports and my wife's friends also.

In the letter, they should include:
1.  Who they are
2.  What type of status they have in the UK, either British, ILR or EU citizen
3.  Who they are to you
4.  How long they have known you
5.  Whether they think you are a good person, in conduct and character
6.  That you have a family and kids who are in education, that you are so committed to your family

7.  In my pastor's letter, he stated that I have potentials that would benefit the UK if given the opportunity to live here.  I think he's exact words were: "he would be a great asset to our country"

Finally:  they people should write whatever will help to make you look like a decent, trust worthy and honest person, even if you ain't any of those (lol)

Don't go for JR yet , my advice would be if you were to go for a JR, only do it when your child turns 7.  The longer it takes for the UKBA to deal with your case, it helps to strengthen your case also and when you do go to courts in future (and I pray you don't have to), for the fact that the UKBA did not take steps to remove you all those years will be a disadvantage to them.
