I will be grateful if you can clear up my mind please....

Recently (almost two weeks) I made an application for Tier 1 General extension. When I got my visa for first time Tier 1 G, I was 26 years old. When I was filling the application I marked my age as 28 (which gives me 10 points). I come under the rules before April 2010, SO will they consider my age points as 20 or 10 as I claimed 10 points. I have got enough points (75 points in attributes and 20 for English and maintainance and total 95). But I have little worry that I should have read the guidance carefully and claimed more points.

My question is, will they consider only the points that you claimed for age or as per the previous application that I made (I gave the home office previous application reference too). Please I will be grateful if you can clear the doubt.

Thank you for your time.

I would expect them to award the points that you should have claimed. Fingers crossed that this was the only mistake.
