Hi.
I have just observed on UKBA website.,,,,
Tier 1 (General) Migrants
245C. Purpose
This route is for highly skilled migrants who wish to work, or become self-employed, to extend their stay in the UK.
245CA. Requirements for leave to remain
To qualify for leave to remain as a Tier 1 (General) Migrant, an applicant must meet the requirements listed below. If the applicant meets these requirements, leave to remain will be granted. If the applicant does not meet these requirements, the application will be refused.
Requirements:
(a) The applicant must not fall for refusal under the general grounds for refusal, and must not be an illegal entrant.
It means that if you are FINED by a Court (within 24 month) even on a traffic Offence, then UKBA will refuse your application under general ground of refusal??Please guide me if I am not right,
Regards
Sidd

Thanks Victoria,
Yesterday I recieved basic disclosure from Disclosure Scotland and my traffic offence(i.e. 6 points and 300 pound) was there under the heading of conviction. As home office released new guideline yesterday which mention that within last 24 month you will not be convicted of any non custodial sentence. My ILR is due in couple of months but I do not think so that now there is any ray of hope after checking my disclosure but I was shocked when I found the general ground of refusal clause in TIER 1 (Extension) as well.
Regards
Sidd
