Due to an overseas posting with my UK Employer myself and my wife who is on a spouse visa spent 18 months resident together outside of the UK during her probationary period. This posting has now ended and we are back in the UK and looking to the next step after her spouse visa.

Provided we can show continued cohabitation and with plenty of covering letters from my UK employer am i correct in think thiat this should not nessesarily be a problem when applying for ILR (as each case is judged on its own merits) or would she need to apply for FLR to make up the time.

The information I have been able to find so far has been vague at best in regards to cases like this.
