I wondered if anyone has experience of time scales relating to Judicial Review. Asylum case was refused and appeal lost. Solicitor made further submissions which Home office maintained did not amount to a Fresh claim but there were obvious inaccuracies and some additional evidence was overlooked or not addressed by the caseworkers so solicitor instructed a barrister for a Judicial Review. Does anyone have any idea how long this could take? Thank you in anticipation.

Hello, Lemrac, I've got refusal end of 2013 and within the time frame (begining 2014) applied for JR. Spring 2015 won oral hearing. After that Home office issued a new refusal and requested new grounds (through the court). Still waiting for the final date for final hearing. Is your solicitor any good?

It's not my case.....it's a friend. Don't know how good the solicitor is. He's had no news of any hearing yet but I suppose it's only 3 months since JR applied for. I suppose it's a case of ' how long is a piece of string?' !!
